Current Events

Students are expected to complete a current event every month. The first current event will be due in September. We will complete the August current event together, so you know the expectations.
The current events are due on the last Friday of every month, unless otherwise stated in the syllabus and on the calendar. Please see the syllabus or calendar for the dates.
Peer Review- The last Wednesday of the month before the final current events are due, students will bring a completed copy of the current event to be peer reviewed. This will allow for students to ensure they are turning in their best work.

Current Events will need to be completed in their entirety with all rubrics completed PRIOR to turning them in, in class. This includes printing your drafts and articles for the peer review and final copy.
